Spacens is in a fundraising process and is looking to bring on the following profiles as we scale the Kaonite program.
We are initially seeking profiles for the following key positions to help establish our project. The space industry takes a long-term view, and we believe in establishing relationships with potential candidates as early as possible, allowing sufficient time to communicate and share our vision for this GEO satellite series project, as well as the strategy behind its implementation.
In contrast to the conventional industry, which primarily operates around large-scale projects, we have designed this project and organization around more transverse positions and broader, more horizontal roles. Working on smaller-scale projects, our employees will be able to contribute across a much wider range of activities, thereby increasing both the attractiveness of the roles and the productivity of the team, while providing our customers with a relevant and competitive cost structure.
We are looking for highly experienced professionals who are eager to share their knowledge and experience, working alongside young talent. The company's roadmap follows a progressive development approach, allowing us to incorporate lessons learned, validate achievements, and avoid the pitfalls associated with overly abrupt growth.
The contract dimension is essential in an organization such as ours. As a “fabless” company, we rely on contracts for goods and services (downstream) in order to deliver satellites (upstream) to our customers.
In this context, we are looking for experienced professionals to join this journey, particularly those who have been involved in the procurement of geostationary satellites, launch services, and potentially insurance services.
Beyond experience in the telecommunications space sector, we are particularly interested in candidates who can bring a perspective on how contract-related activities can be developed and streamlined within a small organization such as ours.
Feel free to send us to our contact email your CV and the rationale for your interest in our company and project.
Express interestAlthough the term “Newspace” is widely used in today's literature, it is clear that it can mean very different things depending on the manufacturer and its specific objectives. The same applies to us: by targeting geostationary orbit and low-cost solutions, we aim to establish a measured, thoughtful, and targeted product assurance policy aligned with our objectives.
This policy will need to address a context combining regulatory, export-control, launch-provider, and economic constraints, while drawing heavily on the experience and best practices of the established space industry. Effective simplification of a process can only be achieved through extensive practical experience.
We are therefore looking for a Product Assurance expert capable of fully understanding and embracing the project, and of defining its Product Assurance Plan. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the various related disciplines, ranging from component quality and radiation effects to product configuration management and traceability, as well as reliability, availability, and operability analyses.
Feel free to send us to our contact email your CV and the rationale for your interest in our company and project.
Express interestOur approach is rooted in a series-production model, where planning is essential and critical, both for managing financial flows and for controlling delivery schedules.
Naturally, significant development work will be required to model these flows as accurately as possible within our specific context, forecast working-capital requirements, and best support sales and engagement planning while maintaining the appropriate level of margins.
We have already invested substantial effort in these areas, and we are looking for a motivated team member who combines, on the one hand, software development capabilities and, on the other, the ability to understand and assimilate the industrial processes involved in the integration, testing, and orbital deployment of space systems.
Feel free to send us to our contact email your CV and the rationale for your interest in our company and project.
Express interestIf you're passionate about space technology and believe you could contribute to Spacens, we'd love to hear from you.
